Early Childhood Experiences Matter
Building the Next Generation
Relationships with caregivers and early experiences impact children’s short and long term development greatly. What a child is exposed to from birth to three years old impacts their brain development, how they grow physically, and their ability to form relationships with others throughout their entire life!
Check out the organization Zero to Three for more information on this critical age group!

Long Term Gains
Research has shown that children who experience high quality preschool during ages 3-5 experience long term gains throughout life. A longitudinal study that followed students who went through a high quality preschool program had fewer teen pregnancies and were more likely to graduate high school. At the age of 40 they were also more likely to have a job, had higher incomes, and had committed fewer crimes.

Saving Money
High quality preschools have also shown to save the economy money; $4-$9 dollars return per $1 investment according to The National Forum on Early Childhood Policy and Programs.
